Built for my own rental house — and every other owner on this island doing the same thing.
A public website for a family-owned rental house on Koh Phangan, with a real booking calendar and two-way Airbnb sync behind it. I use it myself, every day.
No client for this one — the owner is me.
This is my own family's rental house — a private property with a garden, built for long stays as much as short ones. I wasn't hired to build this site; I needed it, the same way any other independent property owner on the island does.
That's what makes it a useful reference — no client to keep happy, no case to overstate. Plenty of people on Koh Phangan run exactly this kind of business — a single private house or villa, not a hotel chain — and most of them are stuck choosing between a pretty brochure site with no real calendar, or an Airbnb listing with no site of their own at all. This is what the middle ground looks like.
A real site, not just a booking widget bolted onto a template.
This isn't the multi-property system from the Hotel Booking System case study — it's built for a single property, and it goes further on the parts that matter for one: the public-facing side, and keeping the calendar in sync with Airbnb in both directions.
What's included
- Interactive booking calendar with real, live availability
- Two-way Airbnb sync — bookings and blocked dates flow in, and this calendar's availability flows back out, automatically
- Short-stay and long-stay pricing shown side by side, each editable on its own schedule
- Photo gallery with lightbox, plus guest review cards
- English / Thai switch and dark / light mode
- Admin panel at a URL nobody would guess, on top of normal login protection
- Booking and contact forms with spam protection built in
Running the property, not just describing it.
Live bookings come through it, guests arrive because of it, and the Airbnb calendar stays in sync without anyone touching a spreadsheet. It's also been through a full security pass — rate limiting, spam protection, encrypted admin access, and daily backups — the same standard I hold client projects to.
Tell me how
you manage it now.
Spreadsheet, Airbnb-only, or a booking form that doesn't really work — describe what you're doing today and I'll tell you what a real site and calendar would take.
