A booking system built for how a small resort actually runs.
Not a template, not someone else's system. A calendar, OTA sync and guest-email system built around one resort's actual workflow — currently running 7 bungalows on Koh Phangan.
Spreadsheets don't scale. SaaS platforms don't bend.
Small resorts usually start with a shared spreadsheet or a paper calendar — fine for a handful of rooms, painful once OTAs (Booking.com, Agoda, Airbnb) are in the mix and double-bookings start costing real money.
The usual next step — an off-the-shelf booking SaaS — comes with a monthly fee per property, a generic workflow, and support for features the owner will never use. It solves the double-booking problem but adds a subscription and a rigid template in its place.
Everything the resort needed, nothing it didn't.
A custom-built Node.js system, deployed on the owner's own server — no per-booking fees, no third party holding the data.
