When design speaks for itself.
A cinematic one-page brand site for a well drilling company on Koh Phangan — the kind of site he couldn't have built solo. This happens to be a single page — other projects are much bigger — but the process doesn't change.
He knew what he didn't want. The concept was mine to find.
Phangan Deep Well Drilling came to me with a site he'd put together himself using AI tools — plain, white-and-brown, functional but forgettable. His brief was simple: make it look like more than that. No moodboard, no reference image — just a clear instruction not to settle for generic.
The cinematic blue-and-petrol cross-section concept — a drill shaft cutting through surface, soil, rock and water, the whole page built around one continuous image — was my idea. He loved it right away. It wasn't free, though: fitting every content block around one uncropped, full-height image took real back-and-forth, especially reworking the mobile layout from scratch rather than just shrinking the desktop version. Worth every round.
One continuous image, content built around it.
A single uncropped cross-section image runs the full height of the page — the client was clear that shortening it would break the story it tells. Every content block had to work with the full image, not a shortened one.
What's included
- Custom layout built around a single full-page visual, not a template
- Bilingual EN/TH with a live language switch across the whole page
- Rebuilt content order for mobile — not just "responsive," genuinely re-sequenced

- Image optimization: background image cut from 1.24MB to 227KB with no visible quality loss
- Schema.org structured data, sitemap, and Search Console setup
Live, fast, and easy to find.
